Pokémon SwSh Thoughts
I’m a bit torn on the national dex thing. On one hand I really enjoy catching them ALL. On the other, I was always concerned that the ever growing number of Pokémon will stifle innovation going forward. If we get more immersive and technically impressive games going forward, I’m willing to accept this trade off.

Just watched Detective Pikachu! My spoiler-free impressions to folllow.
I loved every second of it. They really did justice to the source material and to Pokémon in general. The attention to detail is phenomenal, Ryan’s voiceover performance is top notch, and the Pokémon animations and expressions are the best I’ve seen on any medium.
As a long time Pokémon fan, this movie was a visceral experience. It‘s convincingly real. No game has ever achieved something even remotely close to this.
